Re: Jay's/Mrlexan's Garage

Some of the repro items for some cars are not bad in price... To me it seems to be the more rare the car is, the higher the price of the parts... Even if they are repro parts.

Re: Jay's/Mrlexan's Garage

I had some similar to those on a 5.0 I had in the 80's. I think they look good. That's a decent affordable option. Totally jealous about the car! :) There is this old fart in the Mustang club here that shows up to shows in his... He is a doofus though. Wears black leather gloves when he drives it wi...

Re: #6002

I think.... This is only in my cynical mind, that this WILL be the body in the NEW worlds kit and a Turbo will not be produced, yet... Also think that this car may not be an exact copy of the old worlds car (at least not as close as the Classic was) and there may be big differences... Just more cyni...

Re: #6002

I heard there will be noticeable differences from the original... After seeing that pic, I agree. Hard to say though without having one of each side by side. Which leads me to believe its not from original molds.

Re: #6002

I hope and I think, this will be more than a "Limited" production and a good effort towards establishing a real vintage style racing class. I think the only way that happens is if it's a car that goes beyond buying it and stashing it in a closet. But rather assemble it and run it! But I th...

Are you assuming there is some hidden message there? I think it's clear. If you take it as meaning something different, that's on you, not me, :)

Re: B5 and B5m discussion.....

I just did a once over in the ROAR rules and as I suspected, front wings are legal. My wife says she thinks that cab forwards came out because somewhere someone read that she does not like them, LOL (Referring to when she was ROAR President). From what I understand is that many feel as though a fron...

Re: Sad... another hobby shop closing.

I worked at a shop that did extensive train stock. You may never see people in the train section, however the crowd is mostly retired 60+ men. They are up at 5am everyday and mostly at the doors of the shop when they open. They spend a crap load of money on them. If anything, if that shop was a Lion...

Re: NEW RC10B5

Sugar was tried at SRS before Cactus this year, when Dawn and I owned it... It smelled like poop too. The key is minimal water once its applied... The problem indoors is that the water does not evaporate as quickly.

Re: NEW RC10B5

I would advise against it indoors... We tried it once and if you like the smell of dog poop, and I mean dog poop multiplied by a thousand... then its not a good plan. It ferments, and smells bad even outdoor, but outdoor is bearable... indoor, not good. The track that did it, had 3 racers show up on...
