Re: Topcat!
OOOOOOOOHHHHH! Darn sexy! BORMAC is the king! Topcat was released in 1986. So...Novak NESC-T1 would be a good choice. And batteries would be Sanyo 1700SCE's or 1400SCR's. Thats what everyone was using when I was racing my falcon. I remember a Topcat running in the "a" main. Completely dest...

Re: Just like Xmas!
Upon initial inspection everything seems to be OK. The front one ways have been removed but were included. The left rear hinge pin was bent so the suspension was binding real bad. But I think I have a spare. I will also need new under tray, belt covers and a rear wing. The alloy rollers are gone too...

Tire glue?
Hey,
I really hate using CA to mount tires. I run vintage mostly so original rims are not so plentiful. Has anybody found a good alternative to CA that make the tires easier to remove track side without destroying the tires/rims? I am thinking clear silicone or contact cement might work well.

Well, I only need the left. I am hoping someone has a single in a box somewhere. Same for the front.

Re: Getting a TOP CAT to steer.
Thanks Jason. Great pics. Very helpful. I will experiment with different setups in the spring. There is a foot of snow on th ground here so no more racing this year.

Do you run the steering geometery kit as well? I want to run mine at VONATS and to be honest the tight indoor track FRIGHTENS ME! If I cant get the thing to turn I'll be eating dust!

Re: Your biggest mistake
I have 2.
I threw my first rc car, Tamiya Falcon, in the garbage. What was I thinking because now I am going to buy one.
I sold a MINT short wheelbase CAT with a nip chassis and 2 clear body shell and undertrays for 165.00USD. If only I had known it was easily worth 4 times that.
DOH!
