Re: any advice on model please
Definitely started life as an off roader. Arms look like RPM. Gearbox is flipped around too. I would get some off road tires and wheels and take it for a spin. In order to post pics you must first upload them to a photo hosting site. I use photobucket but ther are others. Then paste the li...

Re: Schumacher USA closing!
Yeah me too! Gonna buy a Cougar. But to order from UK=$$$$$$$. Well...I guess they are throwing in the towel with the American market. Just not enough people driving Schumacher. A real shame.

Re: Schumacher USA closing!
I hope it did not have anything to do with my rant on here. I emailed the sales manager in U.K. to complain about the service from USA and its been spot on since. Probably not making enough money to make it feasible.

Re: Taking a Motor apart?
Silly question. You need to then submerge the motor in the water/toothpaste solution right? Would the water not short circuit the power supply?

Obscure advert in RCCA.
Hi, This is a shot in the dark but does anyone remember or have a scan of the advertisement for a 4wd car called Krypton or Krylon or something like that. I have this vague recollection of it in the back pages of RCCA between 1990 and 1995. All I remember is that it had a unique a-arm configuration ...

Re: Battery Help
Typically Nimh cells should never be discharged below 0.8V but can be as high as 1.1V depending on the cell. 0.9V is a good general guideline. You should consult the specs for your battery and use the manufacturers recommended values.

Re: Short Course LXT
Too much rules restriction is going to turn people away from the class. Totally agree! SC is pretty much stomping stadium truck out of existence. So to then say you cannot mod your stadium truck to SC is pretty stupid. As long as it meets ROAR rules it shouldnt matter. Better check with my local tr...

Short Course LXT
Guys,
With short course gaining popularity at my local track have been considering turning my dusty LXT into a short course truck.
Has anybody done this already? Any tips or tricks? Is it as simple as adding wheels and a body or are the dimesions different?
Any input or pics would be appreciated.

I love it. Long travel front end is awesome! You should make a fiberglass front strap to match the rest of the fiberglass parts.
