to keep the speeds toned down you might sit on that 17t motor for a while and go with a stock motor or even a silver can. If that is still an objective.

looks great. I have been doing similar with an old B3, but my route was almost all used parts slowly building a runner for cheap. I close to finishing soon. I heard a few parts for these are available from Thunder Tiger via the Phoenix BX which is a redone B3.

I have a pair of eagles, neither has a trans like that one. I never really researched to see if there was more than one.

any pics with the top on yet? Thats one thing I am missing, no bodies.

Thanks, tower (and ebay) have the plastic ones. When I cracked open the trans I was surprised that most of the gears were steel, steel idlers would complete it. But if they are not to be had then so be it.

I have an older rc10, appears to have an aftermarket graphite chassis, older 6 gears trans. My question is about the idler, is there a steel one (pair) available? Also, what is the pitch on this gear? It has 22 teeth, seems to be around 36P or .7mod using a formula for pitch I found on the web. I wo...
