It's been a fun project. Got it all cleaned up and running and have been having a lot of fun with it. I ended up going with a Hobbywing QuicRun QR10BL120 ESC and a Justock 10.5T.

@JosephS and @juicedcoupe : Any tips on rebuilding top loaders without the associated loading tool?

Partially answering my own question. Looks like the RTR Rear shocks are a bit smaller at 1.32" vs. 1.39" for the others.

It looks like there were 3 versions of shocks that came with this truck:
Gold - Basis & Sport Kits
Hard anodized, PTFE coated gray - Team & Factory Team Kits
Blue - RTR Kit

Does anyone know if there are differences in these shocks outside of the aesthetic?

I recently picked this up from a FB post after wanting a 10T since the 90's. Thanks for the info and the welcome. I'll have to figure out how to post pictures. I have an RC10 A-Stamp and RC10L from when I was a kid and recently picked up a RC10 T3 to play around with.

Does anyone know if there are currently and CVD's (3/16" wheels) on the market that will fit a T3?
