Re: Losi XX WOIN Racer build

Have you found a body to fit with the XXT chassis?

Re: Losi XX Kinwald Trinity build

I never really intended to add electronics to this build, as I liked how clean it looked without them, but I had to give it a try. You DYED a Cyclone black!? 1. Interesting, 2. How did you remove/install the decal without damaging it? It’s a Japanese market release for eagle racing. There is anothe...

Surprised you don’t have a response yet / yes they are M3 (3mm) eclips.

Tamiya ones (plus many others) fit.

Nice work mate. Needs to see some jumps though :)

The shock mounts, what have you used? Don’t recognise them!

Titanium notch pin?

And what about the rear, do you have a CR specific pin with clip only on one end?

I managed to find both! Arrive soon!

Re: Losi XX WOIN Racer build

MIP Steering  How did you find it? I would love that setup for my runner!!! I got this MIP steering from a parts XX buggy I bought awhile back. The MIP steering has become quite difficult or expensive to find. Quite difficult *and* expensive! I haven’t even seen on for sale in over 2yrs.

Re: Losi A1601 v A1602

I’ve been watching eBay for 1601/1602 trees.

Seems this subtle difference confuses a lot of sellers too.

Looking at a good number of the out of packet trees or loose parts it seems many have listed as 1602 what is actually 1601 parts.

That is awesome to know.

The wing shape is one I’m not familiar with.

Re: Brand New Losi 8042 XXL Bodys

Anyone in this thread still around - I wonder if this guy on eBay is same guy or if same mould.

The wing looks similar to me (which isn’t a CR wing)

Maybe I’m missing it in the thread - but interested to know what proline wheels they are?

Featherlight? Or dish?

Re: Losi A1601 v A1602

I think I’ve spotted it now - ballstuds further apart on the 1601, so slight change in Ackerman. Is that it?.

Losi A1601 v A1602

Hi, I’m rebuilding a couple of XX’s - one an OG Kinwald and one a Bitsa mix. I’ve noticed the kinwald reverted to part number a1601 for steering - but in natural not grey plastic. I’m trying to work out what is the actual difference between 1601 and 1602 - is there a geometry difference? Is it easy ...

Re: XXCR Kinwald cvd's

So from a rarity standpoint are the aluminum cvds more sought after? They are probably more rare, yes. They were produced for one model (XXX4) that actually wasn’t that successful (compared to the XX4) vs a part used on 4 models for about 10yrs. But I don’t think dramatically more valuable. Sought ...
