love their cheap bearings, get the sealed ones if you could afford to though. Boca also makes all bearings for rc10, do an ebay search, complete set for about $20 w/ shipping. The Avid decals are cool too:)

looks like he used only the stock holes to hold the plate on. Most likely just a cheap repair (compared to purchasing a new graphite chasis). Not a bad idea though for scratch prevention.

I started with the transmission. It was dry, had no oil at all, and had a tad of rust on the main diff gear. The gears them selfs was fine they showed minor wear, thankfully, and had no broken teeth. i think your supposed to use grease in the tranny, not oil, unless yours is some special one. For a...

oh btw the brake fluid method does work, let soak for 24+ hours: may have to lightly scrape/ rub to remove paint, longer the better on the soaking, but chances are it was painted because it looked awefull to begin with. Never have i found a can that was even close to matching the orriginal anodizing...

batterys are a difficult subject- heres wat i have noticed/ learned along the way - if you want long runs, get one over 3000ma -I would recommend nimh because they can be charged whenever, recommended complete discharge once/month or every 5 charges, good life- thousands of runs, they dont get too h...
