love their cheap bearings, get the sealed ones if you could afford to though. Boca also makes all bearings for rc10, do an ebay search, complete set for about $20 w/ shipping. The Avid decals are cool too:)

looks like he used only the stock holes to hold the plate on. Most likely just a cheap repair (compared to purchasing a new graphite chasis). Not a bad idea though for scratch prevention.

I started with the transmission. It was dry, had no oil at all, and had a tad of rust on the main diff gear. oh btw the brake fluid method does work, let soak for 24+ hours: may have to lightly scrape/ rub to remove paint, longer the better on the soaking, but chances are it was painted because it looked awefull to begin with. Never have i found a can that was even close to matching the orriginal anodizing...
