Re: Next Project: Turbo Optima
So I run my TO on a regular basis at the local bike jumps, and it is more fun than the rc10, but my tires are wearing out. Is that wheel tire combo you have readily available? By the way, I love the paint job, I am currently using a ghetto protech 1 but have one I have started to paint, but I suck a...

Re: .:clodbuster thread:. =]
I love the clod. I had one for like 6 months when I was a kid, and it was sweet. Went over everthing, through mud, it was great. I think I traded my kyosho turbo optima to a buddy for it.

Re: My new Kyosho Turbo Optima
coolest car ever in my opinion. I got one when I was like 12 years old for Christmas. Car was awesome! I just won one on Ebay, (or I suspect it is one because it comes with the sway bars and those wheels) and I am stoked. Nice buy man. Not to hijack the thread, but I too would love to find where to ...

Re: Whats your thoughts about sniping on ebay?
This is funny to read about peoples bidding habits. I tried to snipe a couple different kyosho optimas, and both times the snipe failed, or I got outbid. Finally I got a turbo optima the old manual way. I can't wait for it to arrive.

Re: Protech I painting
I'd suggest looking at photos of older baja buggies and seeing what kind of schemes they have, and adapting that to the protech body. That is what I am doing, I just haven't found the scheme yet.

Re: cool hybrid chassis
new on the board, but here's my opinion.
As a racer (real cars) I like stuff that is purpose built. This looks pretty well done, but for what purpose other than to be different? I can't imagine that it is as stiff, or light as other options available, but what the hell, I could be wrong.

Re: =WHO THE HECK ARE YOU?=
Allright, I recently bought a used rc10 on ebay, slapped some new electronics in it and primarily use it to chase my dog around the cul de sac and yard. I do enjoy modeling however, and am working on getting a set of old school wheels and tires and getting a nice old school paint job on my new body....
