Re: Hydra-Drive
Looks good, I wouldnt look for a rebuild kit because that only has the pieces you have already. You need the thrust bearing/washer and spring with the plastic spring housing. The good thing is the thrust bearing is easily available on ebay but the spring is specific silver color. Youll also need ba...

If one can be found?Mark Westerfield wrote: ↑Fri Sep 18, 2020 6:17 am A Hydra-drive rebuild kit replaces everything except the housing and bearing inside. Pretty much a straight disassemble, replace parts and reassemble procedure.

Hydra-Drive
So I’m going to try and put a Hydra-Drive together. I’ve had a look through all the threads I can find but I can’t find a rebuild thread. I’ve found the instructions thanks to links from the site. Up to this point I have only found this part, fortunately it’s the main bit. I’m sure I have the rest s...

Is Pargu Lohas?

Works 91
So I’ve been on the fence ready to pull the trigger on a rere XLS or Optima but for some reason I just could not bring myself to fire. As the last few years have passed I’ve kind of fallen out of love with the entire rere thing. It kind of happened after I bought a rere gold pan and sold it not long...

Re: RPM Worlds on 91 Detroit Chassis?
Either the Composite Craft or NIX91.
I’m leaning towards the Factory Works CC version with alloy chassis and if you say these were designed to work with the RPM conversion that just about seals it.

RPM Worlds on 91 Detroit Chassis?
My plan is to take this RPM worlds conversion, clean it up and combine it with a 91 Detroit Worlds chassis to create a 2121 UK Revival entry. I think they should combine pretty seamlessly, am I right?

Re: 870C Driver Shafts
I’m running A&L steering, it’s all pretty hooked up, it tracks straight as a die low speed but pulls hard on half to full power .

Re: 870C Driver Shafts
I thought that might be the case.
The issue I have is a pull to the right under acceleration, I’ve swapped out all the bearings for new so it leaves me thinking that my driveshafts need truing, I think that’s what I need to address and see how I get on.

Re: Recommendation Vintage Racer
I'd say it depends on how good your driving is  Shocking to be honest 😂 Kyosho Ultima might be the only available 2WD rere with reasonable parts support... or the Optima rere series as mentioned above if you're interested in 4WD. You could also give a Tamiya Terra Scorcher rere a go in 4WD (or...

Re: Recommendation Vintage Racer
No recommendations?
Well I guess I’ll just find a way to get the old 870C working.

870C Driver Shafts
So there’s plenty of information on converting to hex drives which I don’t want to do. I’m looking for a driveshaft solution for my 870C where I can retain the existing square drive, are there any readily available options that don’t mess with carriers/wheels etc. Basically I’m looking for as close ...

A5010 & A2000
Just got an email back from Dan saying that you guys are too busy on bodies and are not concentrating on 3D printing much at the moment. Any idea when you might be producing A5010 & A2000 parts again?
