Re: Shock pivot ball

It appears that your balls are too big.

I have the early thin white arms in front of me. Both the ball and slot are roughly 5 mm. Looks like your arms measure a tad small.

Re: New to me RC10 Team Car on the way

Unused? I'd shelve it and get a runner....but that's just me.

What electronics are you using? It will handle the modern stuff. Proline dirt hawgs should work well for street use, so get some 2.2 inch wheels and save the kit wheels & tires. Pick up the 3/16" rear wheel conversion kit.

I just noticed them on eBay. What's the story on that manufacturer?

6020 kit question

A few months ago I picked up a Cadillac kit on eBay, but the label on both sides is missing. I believe it's either a 6010 or 6020 kit. The kit came with bushings, battery, Cadillac stock motor, but the body and wing are missing. I'm wondering if anyone has a picture of the actual batteries that ship...

Re: 3D Printed Stainless Steel Outdrives

mk-Zero, thank you for your efforts. I had no idea that these outdrives were a shortage item. I purchased a few complete (used) Stealth trannys for backups.

Rear hub carriers & bearings

Did the 10T ever use a standard RC10 hub carrier and/or flanged 1/4x3/8" bearings?

I looked through the 'History' thread at the top of this forum, as well as the Associated manual, and so far the answer is No.

Re: It's back to the 80's

Andy (Andy's Paint) just acquired a lot of his old molds, and he's ramped up the vintage production. He might have what you're looking for in clear or painted.

Awesome. Reminds me of the old wedge car days. The only mid-motor config I had back then was my trackmaster equalizer oval car.

Re: Gold Pan RC10 Restoration Project

Thanks again! I ended up with the Castle creations sidewinder 3 4600kv brushless motor and esc combo. I'm still having trouble narrowing down what 2s Lipo battery to purchase. Castles information recommends a 2s 5,000 mah or larger and a discharge rating of at least 30C. I'm still learning about Li...

I'm considering the 3PV. It's affordable and seems to be highly regarded.
