Re: Losi JRX Pro Build
During that era wing wire was still standard. I have a set of (un anodized) alum A&L wing mounts, which would match your body mounts, that I can send to you if you'd use them. I'd put them on the rear shock tower and pull the stock wing tubes out of the bulkhead.

Re: MIP Jrx2 Transmission #LB-1000
 Question about the timeline of this transmission: when was it available with respect to the Hydradrive? Would a Hydradrive have ever been used on this transmission, or is the MIP slipper simply superior/preferred? Gears are turning... IMO since the LB-1000 was released in 1991, and the...

Re: MIP Trans Case?
Those case halves came in several different shades of yellow. All the way from bright yellow to dull greenish hue yellow. You appear to have the latter. IMO you should leave them as-is, but I am more of a purist. Otherwise you could dye them black with Rit Dyemore graphite and be done with it.

Re: Losi JRX Pro Build
Yet another spectacular build. Really nice to see what you've been able to do with it. I was content with the way it was, but these mods take it to another level. Save those vintage Losi ballcups and early thin rear arms/hubs that it came with.

I'd try to source MIP 1/4" cvd's or AE 1/4" universals.

Re: Stealth gear-sets
Thorp 64P idler and diff gears rarely surface, and the factory stealth 48P steel topshaft will easily handle a brushless mod motor.

The high end build would have all Made in USA parts.

TrackMaster X Caliber Direct Drive & Belt Drive trans
First, does anyone have a clear copy of the TrackMaster X Caliber Direct Drive Instructions? The ones in the scans forum are hijacked.
Second, do both trans use the same #7113 diff thrust half?

So if the vintage ads are correct, and yours is a 16x4, where is the discrepancy?

Re: RC10B2 CVA/CVD options
3/16 axles are easier to find. However finding truck length cvd bones will take a bit more effort.
