Re: It's back to the 80's - or What to do with a Trackmaster belt drive

I remember these from bitd - very cool. However, without a cover, I never understood how they kept dirt out of the pulleys.

Re: Anyone on here attending the Associated Warehouse sale?

I hesitate to ask (fearing the answer) but is AE liquidating? Do any of our members here work for AE? Does anyone have some insight regarding their stability?

Wow, a day early even. I mailed them Thursday from Alabama. Anyway, glad I could help.

Re: Best battery RC-10 B6D?

Oddly enough, I've found that they don't. I have timed my SC 10 with both batteries and found that the nimh ran about 8 minutes less. Both batteries are roughly the same age and neither are what I would consider high-end.

Re: Anyone watching the 2017 IFMAR Worlds

"in a world of over prepped tracks nice to see the pros struggling with jumps and traction." - RCveteran Those were my thoughts as well. Seeing how hard they are working to keep their cars pointed in the right direction made me think I would have no chance on that track. As interesting as ...

Looking good. My advice; don't sweat the small mistakes, you'll never notice it when it's finished. I forgot but are you building this as a runner?

Very nice and the arcs appear to coordinate with the chassis plate as well. Good job!

Re: New RC-10 B4.2

Looking good! Nice and tidy. Just about time to get'r dirty though. I think you will like how this car handles - very balanced. There are places on my track that are extremely rough and this car handles those sections better than any of my vintage cars. However, mine came equipped with a gear diff a...

Re: B1M RC10 Mid Motor Conversion

Speaking of screws, I received my first order from Team KnK today. Really great folks to deal with. I would buy from them again. Conversely, I order some odds and ends from Fastenal and they totally botched the order. Lesson learned dealing with Fastenal online: just because you can order something ...

Re: Anyone watching the 2017 IFMAR Worlds

Just watched 2wd A's. I realize it's the Worlds and so it's not meant to be easy but that track seems to be especially difficult. Inconsistent grip and awkwardly spaced jumps has Cavalieri and Maifield trying something different nearly every lap - even in the A's.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Well, it's the ESC that Mark Pavidis used in his 95 Yokomo YZ-10 Championship car and it is getting pretty rare at least the ICS is there are lots of other LRP ESC's like the IPS and AI but this one seems to be rarer and will eventually grace my Pavidis Champ car replica. Okay, cool, thanks. I tota...

Interesting! What's the approximate time frame? Like the Bolink, were these around also before the CW's direct drive dirt oval cars?
BTW - GoMachV, the USPS guy says your package should arrive Monday.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Finally found the item I've been looking for almost a year and it's still unopened! Thanks to the always vigilant aip47-2008 for his heads up. http://i709.photobucket.com/albums/ww94/a01butal/IMG_2372_zpsgle4bgun.jpg Hi. That looks like a really nice esc. Perhaps, for the benefit of those like myse...
