Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread

As long as I'm digging these out I'll show some other ones I had Laying in this box. I don't know about any of these. The ones in the top/middle with the round tops were obvious wing mounts to me although I don't know their origin. I had another set of them that I used on my recent RC10L build. Any ...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread

I tried to search tecnacraft wing in our forum here and there was some talk of it. But unfortunately photoSUCKit strikes again! :x I did find a pic of something else that was helpful. It mentioned Tecnacraft quick release wing mounts and I believe I might have a few here. I have a box full of alumin...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread

What was it's intended use? Was it just a trim to length universal wing or was it specific to something like maybe 1/8 scale on-road? Also did it have end caps or just open ends like you see here? It does have associated style wing buttons. Maybe RC500?

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread

I was digging through my old wings today and found a couple cool things that I would like some more info on if possible. Anyone recognize this wing. It looks like it belongs on a drag boat. Maybe 1/8 scale car? It looks to be extruded plastic. Was also curious about the wing buttons. Never seen thes...

Re: Is the Javelin next in line?

The 240 SB was definitely a higher quality motor with bearings gold anodized endbells, etc. while the "ST" was the economy version. But more powerful? I thought they were basically rated the same with the 240 second battery time designation. Now I'm confused. I own both motors but have not...

Re: Basher67's Fresh Painted 10T Body

I was really happy with the way the 10t paint turned out so I painted my graphite buggy to match.

Re: Hi, new member in the UK

Welcome to the forum. Biggest downside to owning an RC10 is you soon realize that just one won't do. I have 7 currently ranging from stock original to full aftermarket custom. I had 11 cars with enough spare parts to build a couple more before recently thinning out the herd. You will need to ...

Re: How do you display your rc?

Years ago in a bar that had a race car theme, they had what appeared to be 1/10 speedway type cars displayed on a large board that was painted to look like a section of road. It was at about a 45 degree angle off the wall above the bar. Almost looked like cars racing on a banked track. At least that...

Re: My RC12L Nearing Completion

I also put together a half way decent 12i when I built this 12L. Not nearly as clean as this one , but a decent complete car. There are pics of it in my gallery. BITD I had a bolink 12 and loved it. I had always drooled over the 12L's though.

Re: How do you display your rc?

I like the idea for displaying a car. I thought of something similar using shelf brackets last time I was in home depot. For me, I would attach a few of these to a stand of some kind. Otherwise you end up with alot of holes in your sheetrock wall. I had also considered converting a wall to pegboard ...

That's an amazing collection. To get back on topic---we've shown ours. Do we get to see a pic of this 3d printed shelf?

Re: How do you display your rc?

Wow. That is alot of cars. I don't know what's more impressive, the number of rc's or the way you came up with displaying them. Definitely using up all the available space. Come on--throw me a number. How many complete cars in your collection? I've got mine on every shelf that the wife would let me ...

Re: The dog thread

Lite colored pomeranian is my 2 year old female "Clover" and the red/white pom is my 3 year old male "Lucky". At 7 lbs. each they are smaller than my clodbuster----more like traxxas sledgehammer size. :D If you ask them if they want to "play rc" they will shriek , bark ...

My RC12L Nearing Completion

I've been wanting a 12L for a while. Everytime I come across one it's just thrashed so I've been collecting NIP parts and waiting until I had everything. The wait is over! :D I finally got a car that was a good candidate for resto and with all the new parts I had been hoarding, I was finally able to...
