THE BLACK THING (T2 hybrid...) NEED HELP WITH BODY!!!!

I've been wanting to do this for a very long time.... I like the T2 chassis but I don't really like trucks... So I decided to make a new style of buggy. I'm not completely done... Sill need to get 1) a better shock tower for the back that I can mount on the T2 bulkhead, and another BLACK one for the...

Someone mentionet epoxy (?) above. I painted an metal tuber with regular metal paint once and even with the primer t...

What about the B2 and B3 bodies? Do they fit on the gold pan?

Also would they fit on a T2 chassis converted to buggy? I'm working on that project right now. Ist the chape of the T2 frame the same as for the b2 and b3?

So if I understand the glossy finish came with the pearl coating? I was thinking about sanblasting a chassis but I thought it would leave the metal kinda rough. Did you sand it or something before painting?

Ok could you give me some measurements at one point if you have a chance? We could compare it to actual RC10 bodies (I have an original here). Maybe the width at the nose and widest part?

Thanks for the info

What about sand blasting?

Hello I have access to a sand blasting machine and I am too lazy to sand and polish a chassis that looks quite rough in its actual state. This is for a runner project, so I don't mind the scratches I just want something clean. I was thinking about sand blasting the chassis to get rid of the anodizin...

Welcome to the board.... The gold pan is a great buggy to built and drive. It is tough and of very good quality. Of course it is heavier that today's buggy but waaaayy nicer.... A very good choice to learn...

Cheers
