Love this. Appreciate you posting and looking forward to seeing the rest. You ever found anything that breaks down the difference between the x2 the pro and the pro se?

Re: Hirosaka's Stealth RC10 used in Australia & Detroit Worlds

Sorry if this is a dumb question but where is the list you referred to that Curtis published of potential stealth racers? I didn't understand if that was something he posted around the time of the races or something more current he posted here in the forum? I sent Rick Hohwart a message on FB yester...

I referred to it many times during my ongoing Turbo Optima Mid SE thread.

That company that scoobyrs25 posted above with the chassis kits also has CVAs for these cars that look promising.

I think that is a common shared issue around here as well as having 20 projects backed up. This kit is too cool to pass up.

Re: RC10 CE Set Up and Race Discussion

Are all of the B4, RC10T, and T2 parts interchangeable? Specifically the rear 0 degree mounts and the 25 degree blocks? B4, no - 10T and T2, many parts, suspension-wise. The steering blocks and rear arm mounts are the same between the two trucks. The B4 (4th generation buggy) has parts that can be ...

Re: JRX series set up discussion

I remember when I got my first production JRX and Rick Hohwart still had his Prototype and hadn't gotten the new produciton parts yet. We were at the Regionals in AZ 1988 Region 12 if I remember. Not sure if it changed or not. It was the qualifier for the 1989 Worlds. We were cleaning our cars and ...

Very cool build. Do you have the part number for those front wheel hub/adapters?

Re: What is the current status on the Masami "Stealth car" conversion kits?

I would spend hours and hours reading those old Tamiya rc/model catalogs. [/quote] I did the same. I still had a bunch of those catalogs until they were thrown out  recently when someone "cleaned up" and thought they were just old mailers. I don't even want to think about how much mo...

Re: What is the current status on the Masami "Stealth car" conversion kits?

It was a big day when I grabbed that RC Car Action issue from my mailbox and realized it had that in-depth article revealing Masami's 89 car and the YZ10. That was a BIG deal.

Same here. I wish I had hung on to those issues with the 89/91 worlds and the car features.
