Re: B6.4CC
So what’s next? Literally just last night I sold my NOS B5M with NIP parts to get into a super modern buggy. I guess I’ll have to wait now.

Re: The cheapest 1/8 scale buggy wheels
Ok I’ll convert something 1/10 scale to 17mm hex and put a e36 body on. The wheels will look good I’m sure

https://deltaplastikusa.com/collections/1-8th-rc-bodies/products/0137-1-5-bmw-m3-8th-scale-gt-rc-car-body-1-5mm I saw this but it’s an E46 which totally messes up the 95 E36 M3 DS1 look I would go after - spending an ungodly amount to build   There also an 80’s e30 body in 1/8 available. ...

The cheapest 1/8 scale buggy wheels
I did a search by the cheapest 1/8 buggy wheels to bash around on at my local clay track. The ones that came up were yellow BMW e36 DS1’s. I had 3 E36 M3’s. So I had to get them and paint them with actual aluminum wheel silver metal flake paint. Now I need to have some center caps 3D printed with BM...

Re: The Infamous Idler
It’s a t4 trans so the b4 idler should work. I had one (9360) in my stash, and got it fixed. Just worried about killing this one and being SOL.

These things still unicorn farts? https://i.postimg.cc/4NY0GFzd/FB939927-9128-4220-961-F-743-A321-DDBB7.jpg Aluminum ones are easy to find. I don’t like the idea of passing the buck to the diff. I could put a metal diff in too, but I think that sends the weak link to the top shaft or the trans case...

Re: My own personal Tyco and Nikko collection
Fun collection you have. I had a half trax as a kid. Constantly broke it. Dad kept fixing it. What good times. My best friend had the fast traxx and I think it was just a little faster than mine was.

Re: RCs that we played with as children upgraded?
I have a thread on here about my Panda I completely upgraded. Electronics, suspension, tires. I'm scared to drive it because one crash and its over but it is definitely much more fun

Re: Wish I could drive my RCs again....
My son is a natural RC driver/pilot. Hes about to turn 7, and got an electric plane for Christmas, he can fly it. But for now I land it. He really wanted my SC10gte so I bought him a slash 2wd and we bash around together. Its great. I hope to get back into more custom builds with him helping real so...

I’m looking at this one so I can use it for larger stuff too like carbs and gun parts.

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
The day (yesterday) I decide to face the steps with 2x6 supports, I stepped through the 2 bottom steps and broke em 😂🤣 And thats why I always cut stringers and use center supports. They aren't as attractive but are sooooooo much stronger. Cutting stringers for stairs that long would be time consumi...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
I’m almost done with my stairs to the lower levels I cut out in my back yard. Funny, I did the main frame and steps 6 months ago. Waited for warm weather to finish. The day (yesterday) I decide to face the steps with 2x6 supports, I stepped through the 2 bottom steps and broke em 😂🤣 7134FCC0-F89F-4C...

Best way to clean grimey shocks?
I’m finding the threads on the big bore shocks are very hard to clean. My brushes don’t seem to be fine enough to clean the threads out.

I’ve been wanting a sonic cleaner, anyone use those?
