Re: MRP FAST CAT
Last time I saw one of your boats it was a bit larger.
Blower, maybe nitrous and a ventilated big block.
Please correct me if I don't tell it right.

Re: MRP FAST CAT
lol...we did cut that Dumas Spint in half! but i think Chuck was referring back to the late 90s when we wasted (what would have been a decent retirement now) on jet boat after jet boat, engine after engine...
just blew all the money...ridiculous!

Re: MRP FAST CAT
Sorry to further derail the thread but, if I remember correctly, you may have bought that boat from Shane?
It was a jet and it looked pretty scary. Any pics to conclude my side rant?

Re: MRP FAST CAT
got the engine mocked up. modified rc10gt motor mount in there...cant see it in pic. the big white gear is the diff gear from a Hotshot/Frog modified to fit that clutchbell. the two red x's are where the original electric motors were

Re: MRP FAST CAT
Thanks! i got the entire bilge painted with black flexseal...drying now...gonna look good...
before i did i wired it all up and fired the engine! all worked perfectly. waiting on a dubro fuel tank but other than that it will be mostly done tomorrow. then if it works on the water i will clear over the entire outside to preserve the old decals and plastic....this things old!
More pics tomorrow!
