Re: Masami Hirosaka reinvents the MX-4 with G-Force MX-4 Forever

Apparently these are all being hand built by Masaaki Hirosaka so that explains to pricing.

I wish they would also release it in a mass produced kit form just so we could actually afford and run it.

A Race truck design that was inspired by R/C cars, seems pretty cool!

Re: New RC Genre

Have you tried putting it inside the bodywork because IR should be able to go through lexan. Also have you heard of NRC projects? I did consider mounting the transponder under the body, but I would have to unplug it every time I remove the body. It's more for convenience. ...If I use the Inferno bo...

Re: Things that irritate you

So first time using AliExpress for a bunch of mabuchi motors that i wanted to just try out. Dealing with the Chinese is always an ordeal. They're a bunch of scammers that do everything they can to screw you over. We sourced a product from them a few years ago. 1 - What we spec'd and what we receive...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary

Do you have actual thickness numbers to support the thinner claim? From my research, I have heard the 40th is as thick as an original variant. I haven't opened my 40th, so I can't confirm. I have personally confirmed that it's the same thickness as a B stamp chassis. I'm not sure where people keep ...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary

About the chassis it is certainly thinner and lighter than the original. It's like the CC. I don't have the classic reissue so can't comment on that one. So first time using AliExpress for a bunch of mabuchi motors that i wanted to just try out. Order 10 figure if they don't work out not a huge loss. Seller i order from replies 4 days later stating they don't have stock and I should cancel the order. The store shows over 9000 in stock. This is appare...

Lookin' good.

You could probably make a wing mount that integrates into the Transmission brace.

If you're not changing resins and don't have the printer near a window you don't even need to drain the vat unless you're going several months with it not in use.

Re: RC10 - A Stamp Rebuild - Chipped Idler Gear

There are a few reasons that any well built trans will not spin for the purported 15 seconds. Friction from the felt seals And more notably the grease in the bearings. Also excessive side play in both the idlers and out drives that can cause the gears to wobble. With the felt seals removed and all ...

Re: RC10 - A Stamp Rebuild - Chipped Idler Gear

Funny part is they didn't add that part of the instructions to the 40th manual and only show 2 small spacers on the shaft, no surprise if you run the car that way the axles hit the arms which led me to look up the old instructions. https://i.imgur.com/w1eK5fD.jpg There are a couple big differences ...
