Re: How good are new bearings
When it comes to our R/C usage, I've always read that pretty much anything is sufficient. "sufficiency" is a good choice of words here - both work and which is better can be subjective. It helps to consider the goal vs tradeoffs. For example: stock vs modified motors - I imagine few would...

I dig them too!
Pargu gets the credit! I reached out via eBay and he confirmed he made them.

Re: How good are new bearings
I'm just curious how things overall compare. For me oiled bushings are just fine. I can always just put in a bigger battery and hotter motor. Bushings always bothered me because they eventually get sloppy. I like how bearings allow higher tolerances to be maintained. Plus lower friction means effic...

Javelin alloy wheels?
I'm trying to find information on these alloy wheel on a Javelin I picked up last year. I've searched online and not yet turned up any certain matches. One possibility is Pargu except I haven't seen a two-tone like the ones on his ebay site presently, and as far as I can tell his are single piece, w...

Re: Reedy DS Racing Motor ?
Could be part Firehawk. Good call!! I found closeup pictures in an auction listing and the Firehawk endbell appears to be pretty much same color and exactly same design. Also the steel can is the same color and the front and sides have same pattern of vent holes and markings. It looks like it could...

Re: Reedy DS Racing Motor ?
Thanks for the feedback! I’ve seen a few and have a couple but never with the red top or purple heat sinks they’re usually silver along with bearings. Yes -- that's what I expect the modified would normally look like. I assumed the purple heat sinks were aftermarket. I'll take a wild guess that it's...

Reedy DS Racing Motor ?
I picked up this Reedy DS Racing Motor recently. The guide only lists DS Spec and DS Modifieds, but this one is a tabbed stock can with bushings. It's stamped ROAR 96. I can't find much information on the web, and was hoping someone here might have some background on it. I did find this Reedy 1998 c...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
The mint unused Endinger is exactly as I remember from years ago, while the Cadillac is obviously whiter. In fact, when I got the Cadillac several years ago I was thrown off because I had never seen an RC10 back in the day from say '86-'89 that was as white as my Cadillac. I don’t trust my memory f...

Re: Are we ready to add an RC10T ReRe section?
I didn’t see it mentioned elsewhere in the thread but just looked closer at the product images and the only picture (one of the top down views) that shows the laser logo has “RC10” with no “T”. The etched logo is conspicuously missing from all the other images except the main callout bubble… maybe i...

Re: Are we ready to add an RC10T ReRe section?
What kind of sick individual decided it was a good idea to release all these rc10 kits all at once.... This! Spreading them out a little, say by even just a few months, would allow budgets to at least begin to recover! Maybe stock won’t be too limited but some people that just purchased earlier rer...

Re: Are we ready to add an RC10T ReRe section?
Wow very interesting! I’m mostly into buggies but funny enough I just this year put together an original 10T after holding out for a long time. And now this tidbit surfaces! It’s tempting in part for the skinny fronts as all I have are wides.
