I understand what you are saying. With just a race, for the inner outdrive, non-flanged bearing, it would just act like a spacer for the outer flanged one.

Thanks all. I was able to resolve this with the help of the old bushing and Dremel tool. With a Sharpie, I drew a black line all the way around the bushing and inserted it into the outdrive. I was able to see where it was binding the bearing. Visually, I could not see it. It was only the non-flanged...

I've had this car sitting in a bin for 10+ years. It looks like it would be a fun car. The tires are spent; any ideas for replacement ones?
