The cheapest 1/8 scale buggy wheels

Post by mAdMan »

I did a search by the cheapest 1/8 buggy wheels to bash around on at my local clay track. The ones that came up were yellow BMW e36 DS1’s. I had 3 E36 M3’s. So I had to get them and paint them with actual aluminum wheel silver metal flake paint.

Now I need to have some center caps 3D printed with BMW roundels and paint them white and blue. :P

I wish a 1/8 scale E36 body was available somewhere. I couldn’t find one.

I saw this but it’s an E46 which totally messes up the 95 E36 M3 DS1 look I would go after - spending an ungodly amount to build

There also an 80’s e30 body in 1/8 available. But no 90’s E36 :-/

Ok I’ll convert something 1/10 scale to 17mm hex and put a e36 body on. The wheels will look good I’m sure
