89 Masami Build

Howdy All,

I got a custom painted Masami body for my runner last year, but it was to nice to use, hence this build.
Purchased a Bezerk 89 masami kit as a start, I just need to find everything else as all I have are the alloy bulkheads and motor mount.

Ok guys I am new here. I have been in R/C since I was 11 years old and I am 43 now. My first car was a Radio Shack Golden Arrow. I could not afford a RC10. Many grass cuttings later I had a Clod Buster. The rest is history. :lol:

Probably the one car I'd love to own which I dont know enough about. I vaguely understand the early Yoke's but I was wondering if Masami's 89' Worlds car is made up of standard Yoke items or have there been too many custom bits like his 2WD car to...

Thanks to Niki and Jake alot of us can now build our dream car, the 91 stealth! Thanks for all your hours. I hope seeing these builds and the excitement they bring, show how much we appreciate your time and efforts. Anyways my first build is going...

Made some old school home brew G10 fiberglass. Tried to make it transparent like the old associated fiberglass was. Does it look close? Cut out my front and rear shock towers.

I'm going to be attempting to paint a Masami B3 body, the one that is on the side of the box with Masami holding two trophies.

Much need photos of this body is wanted...needed, for me to paint this. All I have it the photo on the B3 box to go by....

I just messaged Masami on Facebook about what green he uses on his bodies and he got back to me right away but with little information. He said it was a mixed color and he doesn't know the ratios. What has everyone or anyone found with their own...

On the website, they list racing green, lime, neon, metallic, and spearmint. I think metallic looks the closest -- although it looks a little brighter but maybe it's due to different lighting. I reckon I'll order a can and try...

Now that Ultrahive is MIA, i need to ask this - is there any way to source the Stealth 91 stickers set from Masami from.. anyone ?

The best and most complete set can only be found through Ultrahive and some decals are anyhow missing from his set. His job is close to perfection though. Good luck contacting him...
