In the process of mating together an early Blue Eagle with the Bullet, i have almost everything i need except for a transmission halves.

Im definitely Team Tamiya but traxxas had some beautiful stadium trucks. I dont like traxxas new builds even tho I hear they are very tough and have great quality parts but to me they lack the style of their older models so when I saw the traxxas...

alright, as some of you kn ow i scored a nib eagle. always wanted one, now i got one. so, here we go with the build thread. :mrgreen:

staring with the A bag, this mainly consists on the trans. the ball diff comes pre built, so it takes no time to...

i sold this car off to a fellow board member a few years ago. with the lack of pictures and info needed to build it up as a faithful replica to the original, i just lost interest in it. plus lets face it, i'm an AE guy. :wink:

Picked this up from a buddy a couple days ago. Cleaned it up a little to assess if it was something I wanted to restore or pass on to someone else. I have to say, this truck seems weird to me. It's a cool truck, but seems to have some oddities....

Can someone verify if this is a Traxxas Blue Eagle LS2. I got this in 1992-1993. I graduated high school and then went off to college and there were no local tracks so I did not run it much. I last ran it in 1999.

saved this from going to the trash. snagged it for $15.oo radio shack brand, nice codition. didnt come with a remote at the time. got it home and cracked it open. it had a futaba servo in it, futaba reversable ESC , and a micro reciever named...
