Bolink Eliminator Rebuild
Have the Eliminator fully assembled and now thinking ‘tronics. More from the motor / battery aspect as I have a Spektrum DX5C so I’m just going to get a receiver. I was wondering if anyone has gone brushless/LiPo on one of these models. My concern is it won’t be able to hold traction. Thought?

Also you would need to reduce the spur gear tooth count and increase the size of pinion if going brushless. Even with brushed motors, these can move pretty fast and will spin out without proper traction. Like driving on ice.....

In situations like this I would buy an ESC that has lots of options for tuning, are you going to run foam or rubber tires?
I can go from popping wheelies at the hit to silky smooth launches with a couple of clicks also I can turn the heat up mid range to top end, some ESC’s are so tunable that you can literally tune the braking off throttle through turns.
