Cant wait to see you back full time buddy! There won't be competition tho, although some cross breeds will be fun!

That's going to be awesome! Can't wait to see what parts you turn out. You should make an order list in BST forum once you get going. I hope you'll have a few RC12 parts set up like radio trays etc.

With the super pid I should be able to run the spindle slow enough to cut kydex which is exciting as I have a lot of bumpers and radio trays to make. Maybe even motor guards (like A&L style)

Super pid is out for delivery today.... Cant wait to play with it

I ordered a temporary machine to learn on and play with, plus it will be a good backup and might use it for light metals or things I don't want to abuse my good machine with.

Here it is running a sample file

I'm starting to get good at building pin routers lol! Had to build a new one to fit the table, as the new machine is a lot larger than the temporary shown here! I need both, it's just too handy to lose the pin router all together. The area on the left of the controller is where the new pin will sit

its been a long week. The little guy broke thge spindle motor, and while waiting for the new one I decided to add homing and limit switches to it. The spindle arrived and I was able to test a cut with it, seems like it will be ok but I need to finish up the controller cooling to make sure it has a chance. The old spindle was only 230w, the new one is 400w....so yeah...not sure how long the electronics will last

Took a quick video of the homing, Im a proud papa. Its nice to have a repeatable 0,0 8)
