I don't know why but I pulled this out tonight and thought I'd update this thread with some parts I've bought over the years since my last post

The wing and pink wheels are JC and the wing wire Pargu.

Just going through this thread again and seeing what parts I have and don't have.

Turns out somewhere along the line I did manage to get a 262T belt that Charlie mentioned early on and a 96T rear belt (he said 95T) regardless if it doesn't fit I still have a couple of used belts.

Also in my pile are a set of rare Yokomo copper springs, would you leave the patina or try to refinish them?

I think my only options as far as the broken top deck go is to have a new one cut, so I'll have to keep an eye out for some period .060" fiberglass.

To make a long story short my mate was coming interstate to a big vintage event that we just had. I knew he was in with the Yokomo groups and had a few Yokes, so I asked if he had a top deck. He didn't have one but was keen to help so said he'll ask around. He came back saying Bezerk could cut new WCS pieces and I agreed. I've been looking on and off for a top deck for a few years to no avail, I know the car won't ever be 100% original so I decided to go with repro pieces, I must say they look pretty darn good. Thanks Slaven and Paul from Bezerk.

Now the only parts I need to finish the car are turnbuckles, which I think someone may reproduce.

I think GP3D down there in in your neck of the woods has or can make Ti turnbuckles. I think they are the old "Lunsford" style with 1/4" nut.

The link is for the '89 "Stealth" replica turnbuckles. Near the bottom of that page is the following:

Hope you're doin' something fun.

The guys down here are pretty nuts for vintage stuff which has really taken off in recent times.

I just had a look and ordered a set of these, not cheap. I didn't want to buy them just yet but I figured I'd grab them while they were available. Too many times I've sat on my hands only to miss out.....
