That looks horrific! And that bellcrank setup looks... Awkward! You might want to switch the bellcrank arms, the one on the left should be on the right and vice versa ;)

I'm building a salvaged basher myself, I went with a wrecked carbon chassis because I was missing spare upper braces on my scrap plastic ones.

Btw, that chassis looks WORSE then any of my scrap ones! lol

That setup would work fine as long as the servo was mounted with the horn & connecting rod towards the center of the chassis...where the "L" is oriented doesn't really affect the functionality as long as the servo is mounted properly in relation to the "L". :)

What's more humorous is the link connecting the 2 bellcrank arms is longer on one end than the other, unless it's an optical digi-cam illusion. :?

Actually.. the Losi bellcrank setup is asymmetrical, in that orientation the link bar will stick out further on one side then the other.

For oval racing the chassis be fine but for offroad not so good.It will more than likely break where its machined so far back on the sides.Very little braceing left.don

I disassembled last night its all in soapy water!! I got it for like 7 or 8 bucks as you see it. It also had a front end. And strange short arms I will not use along with an RPM X brace. It is quite the HORROR but I told u guys this!! Now you won't be able to sleep at night!!! I wanted to take more footage of the wiring chops into the poor ESC but I didnt want you guys walking out or fainting.

I was able to disassemble one set of bearings. And they may be ceramics!! The rest gave me a hard time and i gave up taking them apart...but they were in real good shape. All soaking in alcohol now. The tranny case could use replaceing...but im not sure if that will happen right now.

It bothered my concious so I did them all.
20131121_115854-resized-1024.jpg
Apparently someone had shortened the original slipper shaft and hence it had a fracture, and had to be replaced.
20131122_181928-resized-1024.jpg
I used kit a3121which is tall plate and rear axle washer...not impressed right off the bat.
20131122_190947-resized-1024.jpg
When measured it was only .002 in thickness difference from the b4 slipper plate which I like due to greater clutch surface area. So basically I paid for a washer as of course I used the b4 instead due to the losi not appearing as perfect match to mix up and I had the B4 kit as an extra. Im going to look this over 1 more time because I did this washer before with b4 slipper and I think it was eating the washer up so I took it off that time. Ideally the shaft should have its ridge higher up so the slipper plate would top out onto it....then it would not require a washer or anything. And there would be no risk of possible binding.

I don't know if it really effects much but I tend to install those sliders so the female half is on the transmission, I guess it's an irrational thought that having the female portion pointing down will keep dirt from working it's way inside due to gravity.

Most likely just irrational ocd... ;)
