Kyosho Le Mans 600E motor. Was it standard in any Kit????
I always thought the Le Mans 600E was standard in the Turbo Scorpion ???
Maybe was in a Plazma kit too.
Does anyone know. They weren't a popular motor IMO but any info would greatly appreciated.
Cheers

the 600 was supposedly a 10mn runtime mill... I doubt it would have come on anything than a 12th scale, really, or maybe some boats?

Yes, the 600E motor have 30x1 wind so without timing it should be even slower then Mabushi RS540.Lonestar wrote:the 600 was supposedly a 10mn runtime mill... I doubt it would have come on anything than a 12th scale, really, or maybe some boats?

I doubt the 600 was in any offroad kit, it was more of an endurance on-road motor.

I've got a 600E that I just cut the com on. Was going to throw it in my lil Kyosho 1/12 project but I don't know now. Sad to hear that it's slower than a silvercan! It is a nice looking motor though. Just like any other Le Mans motor...

not necessarily slower than a silvercan.... less winds but probably bearings, different wire thickness, proper brushes....SMOKE-DOG wrote:I've got a 600E that I just cut the com on. Re: Kyosho Le Mans 600E motor. Was it standard in any Kit???
Honestly, it probably *was* slower than a silver can...it was designed with endurance as the primary purpose. Hence, the "E" after the 600. It wasn't meant to be fast, it was meant for long run-times.

You can swap the silver cans 27t rotor in the 600E if you want a faster motor but still have the looks of a Le-mans. Le-mans motors are beautiful. I have tried this with a tamiya 11T and kyosho mega motor 22x1t. swapped the rotors, the 22x1t is in the tamiya super modified body, it has ball bearings.

One of my Salute's came with a 600E, I thought it went pretty well.

I definitely got this one with my Plazma back in the day. I just pulled it out to post up on eBay actually...still in pretty good shape.
