Yeah, but in that first pic there is someone staring thru the window at him!

Pretty jealous ! My work area is 1/4 the size , has an additional roll cab bottom tool box , lath/mill combo and 2 3d printers , its a very tolerant cat that gets swung in my workshop !
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

Re: What your workstation looks like?
I finally decided to make a dedicated RC room. Bit the bullet and bought a couple fold up tables, I’ll need to put a pad or something on them as they’re very slippery plastic and they don’t sit quite flat. I’ve been working on my stuff sitting on the floor for a while now, my back can’t take much more. Also bought a rack that holds most of my cars. It felt wrong having some of these just sitting in boxes in a closet. Since I just started this room it’ll be a work in progress. But here’s what it looks like right now.

Kind of surprised that you did not have a dedicated area already. Nice trucks on that shelf.

Mostly just worked on them in front of the TV or on a small spot on the floor in front of the closet where I keep all the boxes of parts and stuff. I guess I had an area but it was far from a workstation.Diamond Dave wrote: ↑Sat Dec 12, 2020 7:29 pm Kind of surprised that you did not have a dedicated area already. Nice trucks on that shelf.

Re: What your workstation looks like?
Took a quick snap of my workstation..... this is where I work from home (last 9 months), as well as work on RC, do my online studies, and where I write my zinger forum and BookFace posts. It's also where I eat, so you won't find any ASSociated stuff there
Most of the Schumacher stuff is in the shed, where it awaits that magical day when I clear out all those Tamiya projects, and get started on the real vintage rides.
Fair way to go, though..... *sigh*

Re: What your workstation looks like?
A small and quite old corner desk. Usually buried in parts, screws and whatnot.
I was given this by my parents when I was probably 10 or 12 years old.
Probably to study at but it quickly turned into place to build slot cars.
There is a small burn mark from a slot car pinion gear that I soldered to the shaft. When I refinished the desk 20 years ago or so I left it on as a reminder of my slot car days.

Re: What your workstation looks like?
The last time that someone posted in this thread, I owned about 3-4 RC cars.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.
