A worker asked me how I got in there and I replied "The door wasn't locked in any serious way."

You have a good start to making your own Boothill Express. Now find a Hemi, a 727 TorqueFlite, Hilborn injection.....

Took the day off to get my dad to a doctor's appointment. Got a wild hare and cast a few when I got home. Fall is upon us for sure.

It is about time to do some fishing.

I pressure washed the boat today. Last week, I replaced the U bolts on the axle and put new LED lights on the trailer.

I sold my center console boat earlier this year, and I can't say that I miss it. My aluminum skiff goes just about anywhere I want and is much less hassle.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

View from my doorstep

Out the front of my place.... that is meant to be a court (cul-de-sac, I guess), but today it was a river.

Wow,

As long as it didn't infiltrate your house your still lucky compared to many Victorians. I wonder how that will affect the current flood situation.

Yeah, we were pretty lucky. Blocked the driveway, but all good now, and no danger of any damage.

Lots of rain to already-saturated ground... so it's all just running off. Will be a problem for the next place along.... the other end of our suburb, the next suburb or two along....

So much rain here at the moment....

Isn't it Melbourne they say "4 seasons in a day" looks like all 4 are rainy seasons , try and keep out of the flooding as best you can , usually plenty of raw sewage in urban flood water , I used to have to recover cars from floods but after half the staff went down with bad vomiting and diarrhea the day after they changed the best practice rules , people got quite upset that we no longer recovered submarines anymore but it's no joke .
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.
A problem shared is a problem halved but an advantage shared is no advantage at all.
