Here is the latest info I have from Associated:

Dear Kevin,

We should have the bodies here in stock by the end of next week.

Regards,

I was out of the office all last week trying to find a place to live, seeing as how my family and I got kicked out of my old place(temper temper). So I do not know exactly when I got this message. I still have tons of work email to go through so I am hitting and deleting as fast as I can. We'll see how everything goes with the bodies I guess.

If I thought for one minute Associated is not going to drop the ball on this, I would put my uncut body up for auction. But the kids destroyed my mold so I will keep it till I get some repros done or Associated starts filling orders.

If you want to use it for a ongoing project, cut away. I am sure that someone here could provide one should it become necessary (I have a handful of each of them NIP).
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Right, I'll believe it when I have my viper bodies in my hand from tower. Though, it still is good news. By the way, did anyone notice that gear covers are now discontinued per RC10.com's electric Q&A.

I hadn't seen it , I asked the question but forgot to look for the answer, thanks for the reminder.
I wonder why they discontinued it after changing over to the new packaging?

Finally!!!

from: http://www.teamassociated.com/racerhub/b4_talk/b4_talk.htm

Your name: Anthony
Electric kit referenced:Original RC-10
Comments: Sorry to bug you folks, but we are still waiting for the #6121 Viper body and #6160 Protech bodies. Are they ever going to be made again? Any estimates on when we could expect to actually see them? They have been "on-order" for many, many months now.

They were packaged last week. You may order any time. #6121, #6160.
