TBH this group of Losis has come together due more to good friends here on the board than going hunting and splashing big bucks on particular models.

The size of a wallet is all relative Paul

it's all just personal choices.

I also have an obsession for 1:1 70s cars, I have friend in that field with full size collections out numbering my RCs.

So many of us have updated our avatar with the first real rc car, but what did you drive befor that?
I'm starting of with a trio. I can say that the Turbo Panther was the most used out of these three.

I just don’t seem to be able to make sense of any threads I can find on rear axle sizes for pre B2 cars.

Would anyone kindly educate me on the different axel sizes, which models came with 1/4 and which came with 3/16 and are...

Hello All,

What period correct bodies are available at the moment for pre 10T trucks, I'm looking for something more MT than ST?

Does anyone know what bodies came with each conversion, Proline, Andys, JG etc?

I saw that thread, they're all nice bodies but just a bit too stadium / race truck for my liking, I'm looking for something a little more Blackfoot style.

I've had a good look at TBG who seem to have a few that might fit...

quick question, just got my beater woin chassis, pretty scraped up but not asphalt clawed, and no extra holes...i almost feel bad for wanting to cut it up... almost...

anyways... just wondering if the chassis change thickness through the different...

Nice bit of Checkpoint rarity here, in as-found condition.

I believe these were HPI Uno (Masami) based builds with the slot modular endbell conversion, subsequently leading to the more common Platinum Series Checkpoints which also had the trademark...

Does anyone have any tips or tricks to mounting a prepainted body? I just rebuilt a Redcat Rampage MT, and I ordered a factory painted body. The body though doesnt have any markers where the posts are supposed to come though. Other than trying to...

I use these :
I use the same things, mine are Yeah Racing ones. Still needs some measuring inside the body to make sure it's centred before reaming the holes but it does show you exactly where the holes need to be.
