Even though the antenna wire is insulated it is recommended to keep it off the chassis plate. I know AM had big issues with this, FM not as much-

Well its been a while since i bought any radio electronics, bought like 6 spektrum recievers in 1 shot once and havent needed any since...

So i have this in my radio

Can i use this reciever?

I found 3520's for $66.07, is there a cheaper...

does anyone use the spektrum or similar controller and reciever? What are the benifits to it? It looks to me like its a wirelss system with a large antena on the reciever, how does it fit under the body and get good reception? pics of it on the...

i got a couple spektrums (dx2 and a dx3), and a react.

the spektrum (horizon hobbies) radios are really nice and simple, the ones i have are 3 model memory.

For RC10 to RC10B2 antenna tubes, I think AE used some sort of milky plastic piping from a roll. I know about the Du-bro push rod tubes for RC aircraft, but they are not the same.

Anyone knows where I can find that exact piping?

Anyone NOT have it sticking out of the body? For some reason I feel they are very fragile (had one break from the receiver body already) and a friend rolled his and ruined the antenna and lost reception. Old school stuff took the abuse. Also...

my spectrum receivers are just standard bell wire antennas. Most of the time I route antenna with a 4inch tube if I can.

Not sure how 2.4 works but I imagine its like anything else digitally transmitted. Transmitter sends high frequency microwave...

Every time I run I break the antenna tube - part of the problem is that it has turned cold outside and the plastic has became more brittle.

Question is what is the best brand/type antenna holder/tube to at least make this a more infrequent...
