On another note, where are you getting the rear wings you are using on your truck builds? Are you simply bending a flat piece of lexan?

Both wing on my GT and this one are the truck wings that are still available or at least super easy to find. The one on my yellow truck is a buggy wing trimmed and mounted to the back of the body versus the top.

Edit. Part number 7185 for the wing

Update time.

Received my newly made radio plate today, thanks Jeff, and got to work. Well hours later I got to work but I just finished stealing parts from other trucks so here's the new pictures for now.

Luckily it looks like the Dudgeon conversion used a Kyosho style clutch cause it transferred right over from my home made gas conversion 10T with perfect gear alignment.

And a couple more overall photos

Also would like to thank Alex, LoboNYC, for the Paris pipe. He made me a deal that I could have it as long as he got to see it installed on my truck. I'm finally able to put it to good use.

That's lookin gooooood!

I probably should have marked but not drilled the holes so you could leave out the ones you don't want. I wish they had black in 3/32 as well, but at least you won't break that one

All the holes should be used when I'm done. I'm missing one chassis standoff. Then the servos, and antenna holder. There's one hole I'm not sure ill need but it may come to me when I start putting the final touches on there. It's definitely stout. Should be plenty strong enough for the aggressive shelf life it will live.

Just thought IDE post a couple pictures of the inspiration for this truck. If you were like me, I had no clue Kinwald ever ran nitro stadium trucks. Well now you do.

I'm still debating on putting my new Duratrax blue head on here. As I'm not trying too hard for a perfect replica.

Ill take that as a partial compliment. But I can't take full credit for some of my stuff. gomachv and Vintagemishal do great work. I just put it together and rubbed a brush and soapy water over it :)

It's been a while since I've touched the RC's but I was feeling nostalgic and pulled some out to look at. That led to a couple purchases.

I always hating having a GT manifold on a truck that technically pre-dated Associated gas truck. So I bought a Kyosho manifold to replace it with and I'm not positive but I think these were an option part for the Stinger? Either way... It makes me feel better about it. Even though it looks just like the more modern cast GT manifolds.

And a couple of the truck with the body on for the thread since the originals were erased.
