Capacitor's not a bad idea to try too. I tried one for my glitching problems, but didn't help in my case. New radio system was what finally fixed my problem. No more glitching for me.

Well I can thank faulty wiring in the BEC circuit plug that connected to the radio. The glithing finally stopped as well because of that and new capacitors on the motor. I took the car to a 5 foot talk gravel pile at a local construction site and then broke the rear shock tower so i had to build a custom one out of aluminum.
Hey, all! First time on the site...and this seems like the place I wanna be. I just unearthed my RC10 from the attic and I want to bring it back to life. But better...faster...stonger! The car will run as is. It is in complete original form, along...

justin, just sent a pm with the template scans. Looks like you may not need them but it can't hurt to have some frame of reference.
I am building a modernized RC10 race car and am looking for opinions about chassis selection. I have several a/b/c pan chassis's and also several graphite pieces. I am using the rc carbon works carbon 3mm worlds towers and thought a carbon chassis...

When I raced stock class graphite was the chassis to have. The whole track was soft and loamy and at those speeds you didn't see much of a handling advantage due to the chassis. The improvement was in the lower weight since we were power and runtime...
I'm new to the forum and to the gold pan car. I have a chance at getting an original B chassis car. The seller has had this for quite a while and has sanded down the chassis and painted it. He wants $75 for it. I want to re-build it with a gold pan...

Thanks for the responses, I have another I'm looking at that is in better condition and will pass on this one.
I must have been going through a dumb phase in the early 90's. First I totally strip down a RC-10 buggy down to every nut bolt and screw for no reason at all, and next I engraved my initials and Social Security Number on the side of the Gold Pan. Is...

Steve it gets better. In the late 80’s or early 90’s all new Arizona Driver Licenses used the Social Security Number as the Drivers License. Several years later Arizona realized that wasn’t a good idea, and re-issued new licenses without the Social...
Hi guys -- what's the width of a 1980s gold pan chassis tub at its widest point? I just need the width of the chassis tub, not the width from wheel to wheel (tub only).
Given that everything else is equal; What is more desirable a Gold Pan or Graphite Chassis?

Yes, you never know if you will like it or not until you yourself try it.
As far as coveted for me, I covered that early on... only aluminum tubs for me.
Hi Everyone,I recently aquired 2 RC10 gold pan cars with boxes 1 is a #6016 and the other a #6020 ,now from what I've come to understand the 6016 is a ball bearing equiped version of the 6020 don't know how true this but im am definitly addicted to...
