Found a cool old wing to finish off the runner body and an old Demon motor I thought was toast but it turned out it was a bad brush and brush spring , also swapped out the 12t pinion for a 14t and it runs very nicely now with the motor still only warm after 5 min . Last thing to do now will be the gearbox support motor bracket .

I've got a Novac Super Rooster in there so the Novak decals at least are valid .
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

I've been working on lowering the body down , firstly with the rear shock tower I've lowered the body 10mm at the rear , the front is harder as the servo saver is very tall and it limits how far the front can be lowered so I had a plan :D
I decided to make a bonnet bulge above the servo saver  so using wet tissue in a circle around where I wanted the bulge I heated the body with the reflow tool in my solder station , its basically a small hot air gun , then when the ABS started to soften I pushed the rounded end of a tool handle up from the inside and held it till it cooled. Worked pretty well :!: Then it was just a matter of trimming the body to the right lines , I've not done the windows yet .
