Something good happened to me pertaining to eBay today which was nice. I've been trying to remove a forced dash out of my username for years now, and it finally let me. :D Every time I've tried to it's given me an error of "Your username can only include letters, numerals, periods, asterisks, underscores or dashes" or "Please provide a valid username." I've gone around and around with customer support over it, and the last time after being elevated to a higher tier of support was told that my new username was too similar to the old one which is why I couldn't change it. I accepted that reason as I had no other choice, and gave up. Today I was in my account settings, and on a whim I clicked edit next to my username, took the dash out, and clicked save not expecting anything, and it took it.

Reminds me of a somewhat humorous thing I read a while back, real or not, don't know, but amusing.

A teacher, always struggling to pronounce student's names, had a new African-American student, who's name was La-a.
Teacher: Is it Lay-uh, Lahah??
Mother: No, it's La-DASH-a, the dash don't be silent!

Of course, in your case, LG, I'm assuming that the dash do indeed be silent!

Ha! I remember reading about that somewhere as well! I can't remember though if it was meant as satire or actually happened.

I wouldn't be surprised whatsoever about its validity in this day and age. :?

In other news, we had a...
Freak snowstorm yesterday.
Earthquake today.
Solar eclipse this coming Monday.

The end is nigh!

Oh, and have been excited about attending my first RC pulling competition tomorrow, and rained out. This is actually the third time this event has been rained out, so it may not be in the cards.

While looking through the stash a couple of days ago, my 80% complete Double Dare caught my eye, so a rainy weekend may be just what it needed.

If you read the below, how much do you think you would be paying for a chassis if you pre-ordered it :?:

The way it is worded, $75, but I wouldn't order one unless I was prepared to pay $110  I suspect the intent was to ask for $35 up front and $75 when it is completed. There is enough bad grammar on the doc to convince me that English is not their first language.

$35 preorder which implies another $40 at time of fulfillment for a total of $75 for the chassis plate. If you need a nose or motor plate to go with it, that would be an additional $25 - $30. As Colt points out, there's enough bad grammar and poor wording that I wouldn't do anything without contacting them for verification of all prices and fees for what you're ordering.
