Does anyone have any ideas on a good way to preserve the blue Dirt Spec tires? Silicone seems to be questionable on them

Need help with the drive on this DS buggy. I am doing it all without manual!. I think I am missing U joint and pins?. Does anyone have a part number for me?. My pics won't post...

question for you, vintagercer -- I bought a set of the blue shock bodies for a vintage project I'm working on, but they seem slightly smaller that regular losi shocks. I'm using pistons from another set and they don't move as freely in the blue...

Yes it's mostly the same. Few difference in the drive train..I will keep my eyes open for one too!.

Long time fan, first time poster. A great web-site for reference. Losi came out with a XXX Spec around 2000. I was able to pick one up-can't seem to find a whole lot about the car. Any value to it? Was Losi's theory about spec racing worthwhile or...

Yeah, I think spec has had more success in on road and oval than dirt through the years. I ran the bolink spec pan car on a flat asphalt oval, the A main guys were usually on the same lap or just one lap down which was not bad for a 8 second lap...

I have seen a couple on here and we've discussed that they are rare. I have a handful and it's neat to see all the different tire treads. Just too bad some of mine are glued to old rims and fearful to remove them intact. I'd like to see what tires...

What inserts come with the front Dirt Hawgs? I am sorting my stocks of tires and wheels and can't find any skinny inserts, so I'm guessing these random wider ones came with them?

I picked up some dirt hawgs for a B2 I recently picked up. So B2 wheels are supposed to be 2.2 correct? These tires look to be slightly too big for these rims, has anyone else ever seen this?
