BoLINK R/C Legends

Post by Dangeruss »

The R/C Legends with its mid-motor ladder plate frame design was introduced by BoLINK in 1990 and offered in eight different bodies replicating coupes and sedans from 1934 to 1940. Shown here sharing ad space with the BoLINK Digger, it gives a taste of the differing advertising styles between BoLINK's race cars and their fun cars.

I think these are still available, perhaps under a different name. The local carpet oval track has a class for them. Even though cheap and simple, they get around pretty well. Their simplicity is not a hindrance on the smooth, flat, high grip surface. By far the coolest class to watch race! Motors and batteries are restricted, so the whole pack is covered by a second or two. :D

Rick Jordan (RJ Speed) bought out some of Bolink, he was one of the primary people at Bolink before it shut down.

Yep. Then Joe Hill (MSA Distributors/Mudslide Motorsports/J&D Machine) bought out Rick a couple years ago.
