Merry Christmas From BoLINK!

A couple Christmas ads ran by BoLINK. Really liked how playful their ads were back in the day.

I bought the Digger when they first came out because it was something I could afford as a kid. It's funny, I remember the night I put it together because the desk in my bedroom I used as a workbench was under the windows, and the moon was shining in. The desk in question was covered on top by a piece of glass, so I took the poster that came with the kit, and displayed it underneath.

The only problem with them was you couldn't choose the color of the body. It was a surprise as to what you got, and of course I had to get pink! It was OK though as I still had many hours of fun with it ripping up and down the street, and on the front lawn. It sported a Green Machine motor I bought specifically for it.

I also discovered that a Hotshot underguard crudely fit the bottom of the chassis which acted as a better means to hold the electronics in.
