I made this comment after having to clean up a mess my LXT made as the hydradrive puked all over everything.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Bought (2) of the body/wing kits, at that price.

I'm determined to learn how to paint the box art correctly, perhaps the Edinger and Latest CE versions. Thanks for the heads up on this!

I'm hoping they do the decal sheet at such an attractive price, too!

Received my "FastTrack" E-mail from Associated today... pretty jerk move of them to raise the price from 319.99 to $399.99, talk about a bait and switch.

I received my e-mail only to see that they were all sold out. At $400 you can get a nice condition A-stamp. I don't see them moving a lot of units at that price. Hopefully they had learned something from the previous releases.

"Sold Out" in <= two hours from their email...

I am curious just how many were in the "first batch"...

Both A-Main and Tower Hobbies pre-orders are $319.99, fleecing folk for an extra $80 I *hope* is a mistake... If not, it is a pretty crappy way to treat arguably their most loyal of customers

It is also intresting how A-main seems to be capping their pre-orders for both the RC10CC and the Yokomo YZ-870C, both are showing "Sold Out" while Tower Hobbies still has pre-orders available for the RC10CC.

However I would recommend anyone and everyone avoid Tower pre-orders, but that is best saved for another thread

I received the email this morning and had the order placed about 45 minutes later around 10am. Sucks that the price changed but oh well.. Anyone know how many of these kits they are making?

AE commented there were no plans to limit production so basically when they stop selling I guess ;-)

their new system is quite broken, they cannot add, change, modify, adjust etc ANY order for ANY reason. I had a payment method that expired while waiting for a preorder and they were unable to update it, the system wont allow it.

$319 is already steep for this buggy, and the $80 price increase is pretty savage. I still don't see what the wow factor is about the CC since I see more cons than pros. AE would have been much wiser to just do a re-re-re Classic & Worlds and offer up spare parts.

Im sure they are coming, based on a comment mentioning 2024 was going to be good for us vintage guys. I see this as something unique, like with losi and the small scale rere jrx series. Made to be a collectors item- which most of the time backfires but you never know. I want one just for fun, its a neat looking rig.

Yeah... So in short I tend to agree their system is broken, if not broken and 'rigged', but that might just be me giving them too much technical credit

I've have five (5) instances where I used a "Super Saver" coupon on a pre-order only to have the item never ship when it comes "In stock".

- I lost out on the Tamiya 45th Anniversary Porsche 934 this way...
- The Blockhead Wild One still shows "backorder" (Pre-ordered 9/13/2021) even though it is "In Stock" as we speak... Opted to just buy through A-Main, lost out on a $40- "Super Saver Coupon"...
- The Tamiya BBX, same deal, ultimately ordered through A-Main, lost out on a $35 coupon.
- Not one, but two JJ Ultimas, came in stock, never shipped... Ordered through A-Main as well (2x $75 coupons lost).

Customer service emails have gone unanswered, or not in a timely fashion.

It is just part of my larger frustration with this industry adopting what plagued the video game industry for so long (before online only and DLC which ultimately killed gaming for me altogether)... Everything became a pre-order and supply never met the demand, the same thing is happening in RC to a large extent.
