Hey @1300GT, I was planning on running a Schuey, building up a Shotgun or Storm.... but this is already built  . Means I can drop gear in it, and get driving.... and that's what I probably need more of right now!

Are you running? 8)

Fair enough. You'll be up against RJ then?

No. Not this year. I plan on being there in 2025. My cars will be ready even if I'm not.

Well, RJ will be in the class.... but fair to say I won't be actively racing anyone.... more providing a mobile speed hump for a lap, before going back and repairing something I broke. Besides, @RC10th will be in red mist land, cutting corners and clearing doubles....

2025? Wow, that's some forward planning! Would be good to cut some (chaotic) laps, while talking complete crap

I'm not sure my driving will be any better, I haven't really driven an RC car in about 6 years and my radio is from 1986, so it's anybody's guess as to what happens. At least I'll have a half decent Traxxas. crikey, what has the world come to....

Postman dropped by, and left me these two bodies...
- HPI Toyota AE86 Levin Coupe (Notchback)
- Proline Raptor pre-cut for the Rustler 4x4

Couldn't really say no, at the price.... about 20% of normal retail!!! Sometimes the deals just fall in your lap 8)

Can see the AE86 going on to a drifter.... not sure about the Rustler just yet.

Got a lucky bargain eBay find, finally arrived today and looks like it's in great shape. Chassis has some scratches but not bad. Apparently stopped playing with it because they upgraded the bellcranks and didn't have linkage to fit

You should probably refer to the manual for proper wing installation. :D
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.
