Has anyone by any chance have a design file for a shorty lipo tray for a Yokomo 870c.

This lipo tray can be adjusted forward/backward.
I'm still working on it because it is not sturdy enough.

Is there a 2s lipo that fits the stock RC10T tray or do I need to change the battery tray. Thanks

I tried these packs and there too big

I first tried the SMC 5200mah
▪ Battery Dimension: 139*47*25MM
▪ Battery Weight: 309g

As the title says, are there any downsides to buying shorty LiPo packs? I'm pretty new to LiPo batteries and have them figured out well enough, but I'm having a hard time understanding something. If a battery pack can be made to do the same job in a...

The lighter weight of the shorty battery will have less weight on the tires creating a smaller contact patch for less traction, also there is less overall weight transfer (but faster) during braking/acceleration/turning. But pretty much everything...

I'd like to mount a shorty Lipo across the chassis on my Ultima ReRe and have found this on Shapeways:

Has anyone used this and have any thoughts, and even better - some pictures?

There's not a lot to go on based on the Shapeways page...
