Masami '92 JMRCA Rc10 Replica
I put this team car together for the wife to use. Well, we haven't been able to get to the track for her to even use it.
Since I got this car, I had thought about turning this into a Masami replica.
I decided to just move forward with that plan. So I stripped the car down and installed the parts onto a well used graphite chassis. Just in case i could make it to the track while i was getting the chassis parts finished and acquiring some needed parts. Hasn't happened yet, but at least it's ready.
My goal was to not get crazy with it. It's not going to be an exact copy.... More like a tribute. Starting with the tub, I decided to try the krylon Fluorescent green paint.
It doesn't look bad in pics, but it was a mess in person. I wasn't happy and stripped it back off the same day, then dropped it off at the powder coater. Much better this time.
Now that the tub is so nice, the nose looks like crap. So out for ano it will go.
That's all for now...

Great build. Does anyone know what model those two hole Yokomo wheels are?

2.5 year update.
Getting it prepped for the Vonats. Still have to glue up the tires I'll actually use and swap in the Reedy S+ 17.5. Number plates are in the works too.

That looks real good Jason Nice attention to detail capturing all the right modifications and funky colour combination. Looks like it should go well

Ok, ready for battle next weekend. Fingers crossed the OG plastic holds up.
