Soooo... While impatiently waiting for parts for my Optima from Pargu and screws etc from China I decided to kill some time on eBay.

Well too fill the void I picked this up but it's coming from Thailand so the void will continue waiting.

Does anyone recognize the chassis? Seems to be a buggy that may have wanted to be a truck at some point. I thought it might be Andy's at first but it looks like it might be fiberglass? I spy some Andy's arms and maybe a JG front mount?

Composite Craft or similar chassis with Andy's arms and a truck conversion (mostly).

The front axles look long. Possibly Team Crp axles for use with Tamiya truck wheels.

I have a buggy with many of the same parts.

Ya, I was thinking "or similar" as the holes and material don't seem to match up with anything else I have found so far.

I guess the next question is does she want to be a truck or a buggy? I've got time to think about it but I don't have a 10T so maybe...

It looks to be setup for Tamiya Blackfoot wheels. I'm not sure how the track width will pan out with those arms.

And the gear ratio of the six gear transmission isn't really suited for tall tires.

In any case, it would be far from a 10T.

I can't offer a positive ID of the manufacturer, but I also don't think it's a CC chassis. Front axles, and rear hubs are Andy's parts meant for Tamiya style wheels.

Build it as a period correct heavy metal class monster truck with a body that looks like it's levitating over the chassis. Don't cut the front for longer 10T arms, and don't drill it for a stealth trans.

Thanks Phin. I don't think my skill set is at the cut chassis with confidence level yet. I will probably clean it up the best I can and replace anything terribly worn. Too bad it September and all the best whitening sun is gone but we'll see what we can do.

This comment is of particular interest since I'm currently building an RC10 based monster truck.
So I'm wondering, what is the internal gear ratio for the first generation stadium truck produced by AE - did these large tire trucks ever include a 6 gear trans (1.83:1)?? If so, then did they include the standard 54 tooth spur gear or were they fitted with something larger?

Thanks!!
Doug

The first 10T trucks had the 2.25 Stealth. The six gear was never used in a truck from AE.

I used to have a truck with a six gear. I was able to get a 90T (48P) spur gear in, with a slightly tweaked T2 gear cover.

I think 84 or 87 was the largest that would fit the standard cover, and 81 in a RPM cover. I believe that the Stealth and six gear have slightly different gear placement, allowing the Stealth more room.

Thanks.
I used to have a 90t spur and I may still have it but I'm not sure I will have a cover that will fit it. I think I ran that spur on the 10L bitd.
Anyway, good info -- thanks again.

Oh congrats on that one. I was talking with the seller but couldn't get the price I was looking for.

That's it! Seeing how much is missing, and impossible to find, the price is too much I think. Although... with a Frog transmission and rear suspension setup... 🤔
