I spy a BigTrak! I loved these things when I was a kid. And a fridge next to your bench! I wonder what it is stocked with....

Not a random bump, but never hurts. Gave the barn a full detail yesterday.

A random bump that never hurts??? Surely you're not hitting yourself hard enough!
Jealous as hell of that space, I can tell you..... although probably needs more beer fridge and cow bell....

Man how I wish I had a space like that.
My "hobby room" is a 30x40 inch table sat in the corner of the room. I definitely gotta do something about that.

My table is outside in the Southern California. I'm hoping once work from home is over I can move inside.XLR8 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 10:16 amTHEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 12:10 am Not a random bump, but never hurts. Gave the barn a full detail yesterday.

Re: What your workstation looks like?
Just a little encouragement to those, like me, that keep cluttered work spaces. I wish I had before pics, but between my 2x5' workbench, and a fold out 2.5x6' table, for the past couple of weeks I have had ~25sq.ft. of workspace, with only about 2' useable at any given time. With the addition of a tool bottom cabinet, and a lot of organizing, I am back to a reasonable work area. Even gained some shelf room for more vehicles. I am hoping to be able to work on two projects at once, without having to constantly pack on up to work on the other.
So, hopefully, you have a long weekend ahead of you, clean up that workspace!!!

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

I too am kind of a clutter bum. I went through and packed and organized my stuff down to the e-clips and thrust balls level. It does feel good to square it away. Nice work.morrisey0 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 03, 2021 7:38 pm Just a little encouragement to those, like me, that keep cluttered work spaces. Unfortunately, my stuff is sitting nice and tidy in storage, thousands of miles from my current location. I am going thru perpetual vintage RC withdrawl. Night sweats, tremors, anxiety, nausea, etc.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Re: What your workstation looks like?
Lil Muffin didn't want me in the garage with all my stuff so she had a couple of guys build an 8'X12' space behind the house for me.
Remember it's either a runner or a shelfer. Everything else is just parts.

Re: What your workstation looks like?
Finally got new shelves and a bench. I put the lino down today. Still have to get the shelves packed with my junk. Add LED lighting plus various other things. It never ends.
