Anything 80s on the horizon?

Post by Rider400 »

I know there are delays and backorders on pretty much everything these days but wondering if there is any news on something upcoming as far as Tamiya 80s reissues? Kinda bummed I missed the black Beetle reissue but Im not paying $500 for one either. :(

Blitzer Beetles are only temporarily out, shows due next month. They were in stock a couple weeks ago.

I was looking at those today. I'm thinking about ordering the Beetle when they are back in stock to make a Stadium Blitzer. I can order a re-pop Stadium Blitzer body and decal set from our friends up north.

Of course, y'all know about the Wild One re-issue?

Well, be on the lookout for the G parts tree, 58106. That is the body mounts. They are common enough but not in abundance.

At first I thought you were wondering if there was anything out there like an 80's Horizon. I couldn't grasp why anyone would want an RC Plymouth Horizon!?!?

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

That reminds me. A guy at work was looking at new trucks and asked me what I thought about a Cummins engine.

I told him that I could only think of one major flaw, that they have a Dodge truck wrapped around them.
