+1 especially about the month you enter BOTM :D
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

Good points all and silly of me to think you didn't do 100% of your homework :D

Did not know the b44 is narrower than the tub.

I think it will all work out nicely.

Kind of thinking something like a b44 wing mount for the rear body posts. Actually looking closer, coxbros has a great suggestion of something like an 834b hoop between the inner shock mount brackets

Reminder that the rear end is high as no battery is weighing it down.

Sorry for poor quality on pics
Yup, you're right, it fits in with the wing in place. That gets my vote, but I still wouldn't mind seeing the Lazer ZX body, just for fun.

My thought is to leave it as it is now.
Something similar to the HPI-Koga FF, but the Mirage is way longer than the Ultima body.
Wow. Erik..i see where your vision came from...i never knew these were existed or were created.

Your execution is exceptional and amazing. Now i cant wait to see the end result!

As always, Great work man!!!

Electronics all done. Some minor tweaks to be done adjusting the ESC.
Reedy Sonic 540 3M 13.5.
Novak Edge 2S ESC.
Savöx SC-1251MG servo.
LRP HV Ultra LCG Modified 4000 mAh shorty pack.
Futaba R204GF-E 2.4Ghz receiver in Novak NER3-FM housing

Still have to do rear body posts. I have some Kyosho OTW 9 posts that hopefully will work.
And then it's the wing mounts and wire that need to be addressed. After that its ready for paint..

I know we can all see the NER-3FM but I don't see the antenna, did you gut it and use a 2.4gHz receiver in there?

Yes I forgot to mention that it is a Futaba R204GF-E receiver in the Novak NER3-FM housing. The Novak housing was cut around the crystal so I went ahead and used it on this build.

Exactly! Where is the factory instruction manual and box?

Hey Erik, is that a short profile steering servo?

Very sneaky, I love it! Fits perfectly with the custom nature of the build.

Box and instructions... I wish I could manage that. It would have been cool.
Yes it is a low profile servo.. the only thing that fit in that small space between battery cup and pan
