I picked this up off Ebay a month or so ago.... dirt cheap. It even came with a new, unbuilt set of big bores. Those are being saved for a future 10t build.

The b4 arms showed up yesterday so it's time to tear it down, clean it up and build it back up for some straight line fun.

Picked this up on the bay for $49. Hated to do it but painted the beat up chassis. Found a GREAT site- to make white parts whiter :wink: And here we are so far. I'll keep you posted as i move along with this.

Keep in mind, this is still a mock up, so this is not the final stage, I used a fiberglass plate that works as a temporary shock tower, front Traxxas shocks that are a bit long...but it all looks pretty good, I'm trying to stay away from drilling...

I was very happy with the overall performance of this car! Maybe even more happy with this car than my CC/RPM worlds car. The funny thing is the RPM ball cups pop off very easy in a minor tunble and are very difficult to reattach...

Its starting to take shape.
chassis was a narrow rc10- oval conversion type hacked up front to fit a losi bulkhead.
front arms knuckles, tower and camberlinks are off a blitzer beetle.
shocks are losi, and linkage is a mix of whatever I could find...

finished it up.
wound up putting a 4-40x 7/8 screw in to the outdrives to keep them from poping out, with 2 4-40 x3/16 button heads in place of the cross pin.

Speed controller is an MSC out of some tamiya vehicle. Lots of wires all over the place,...

Anybody up for an informal 'show off' contest to make the winter pass by a little faster? I was thinking parts trucks/cars built on a low cash-outlay theme, emphasizing custom mods made from inexpensive materials.

Since the idea came from building...

I got this carcass of a fiberglass RC10LSS in trade a while back (thanks, Jeff), but it was missing a few key pieces. Being rather short on money at the moment since we just had central air installed, I wanted to see if I could bring it back to life...
