Looks so sweet! I love the great Graphite texture. Makes it look 3D. Great build.

^ Yes they do. I use my light box all the time. Works great for non RC stuff too. Perfect lighting anytime.

Ok so a little update, I received some black mini low profile aluminum nuts and some black oxide washers and installed just have to add a few to back outer pins.

I wish there was a way to black out the electronics without ruining the labels, and suggestions would be appreciated!!

I have brand new rubber front and back but im probably going to be stuck on the wheels more than anything else. Do i dye white b2’s or leave white? Do i find aftermarket black rims? What black rims out there fit the car?

Shock shafts are unbutanium ( like that spelling, lol) in person shocks look all black so cool but pics dont show how dark shafts really are.

Sorry for the dust bunnys, left car on table for one night and bam, white specs everywhere ruining my pics, haha

Oh and some black wing buttons!

Hard to tell from pics but the shafts look alot darker in person.

As for the electronics, what about wrapping them in black heat shrink, then trimming out for the necessary buttons, plugs, etc.?

I remember back in the day, some of the guys would dye their Novak electronic cases black, and it wouldn’t ruin the decals.

Or a black Tekin ESC and matching receiver might work?

Unless of course you’re doing current electronics. Then maybe a Reedy black box ESC and matching Reedy motor?

This turned out great! Love all the details with the black hardware.

I have dyed Novak receivers/esc black. Just take them apart, carefully remove the decal, dye, and then reassemble. I can't find any of my pictures at the moment but I will pm you later if I do.

What outdrives did you use? I really like how they look.

Thanks for the tips on the novak cases, i have seen this before but i was always nervous about peeling sticker and putting them back on.

The outdrives are aluminum so probably on good for shelf, i dont on know who makes them, i honestly was not looking for them. I was looking for pan cars parts online and happened upon these. I will try to find what site i bought them from and get back to you bud.

Little update on the blackout project, i still have to anodize the front axles but in the interim the dark green bad boys will do. I blacked out the electronics. And finally settled on solid black rims.

The body is just a place holder till I figure the right way to do a black body without a lazy all black body.
